URBAN X Street

Despite holding a degree in History, I’ve always been pulled towards modern, urban scenes - especially given the contrast and wide range of possibilities within this field.

On one hand there’s going big; capturing a sprawling metropolis for its symmetrical lines, the utilisation of technology, and how we as humans find our place within these spaces. On the other is the core of ‘street’ photography; getting intimate with our surroundings with no intentions other than hoping to freeze a moment in time that’s somehow unextraordinary yet simultaneously magical. Something that can be applied wherever anyone goes with their camera.
